Your marketing consists of content, content, content! We hear it all the time, put the content out and the people will come, but what if you aren’t converting your viewers into sales.


There are a number of reasons but today we are going to cover the beautiful ‘CTA’, what is a CTA? It’s short for a Call to Action. Marketing is driving your business forward, people see your content whether it be a useful tip or article, maybe it’s a sales pitch or a customer testimonial but once they’ve scrolled, you’ve vanished. This is why all marketers will post (what seems like) 100’s of times a day so your business stays at the forefront of people’s minds.




Think about this.

A florist connected with you on LinkedIn 6 months ago.


The florist posts a beautiful photo or reel of his/her arrangements EVERY SINGLE DAY.


In the 6 months you’ve been connected, you may have seen 25% of his/her posts.



Meaning you have seen around 45 of her posts.


You have no need to buy flowers for 45 days.


But….


On day 46, you remember your mother’s birthday is in a weeks’ time.


You want to buy your mother flowers.


The florist you connected with 6 months ago is now at the forefront of your mind.



You head on over to her page and start scrolling her posts.


In each post she has a clear CTA (Call to Action)


"Special occasion coming soon? Click on the photo to visit my website."


Sale made. This is what thought-out content marketing can achieve with a clear call to action. If they had no CTA in the posts, you may have left the post, navigated their page for a while and clicked the dreaded cross in the corner.
